Derived from Fall on Me (2024), an acrylic painting by Fanyu Lin, this silk scarf translates painterly gestures into a wearable form. At its center, a grayish suggestion of a bent-over body evokes vulnerability and tenderness. The title recalls Andrea and Matteo Bocelli’s Fall on Me, “an oblique mediation on love and parenthood, dependency and support, here in the everyday world,” as critic Richard Vine notes (read essay). Here, those themes shift into gestures of holding, being held, and leaning into another.
Each scarf is framed and mounted on organic Half Panama cotton, available in:
