WOOD Silk Tie

Fanyu Lin
2025
100% Silk
Edition of 100 per design

Handmade silk tie design derived from Heart Fast (2025), an original artwork inspired by the charred elegance of shou sugi ban Douglas fir, the ancient Japanese technique of charring wood to reveal strength through flame.
WOOD is a study in texture, tone, and transformation, translating the natural beauty of wood grain into sophisticated silk.

Crafted from 100% pure silk satin (85gsm), each tie is made to order and sustainably printed using permanent reactive inks that bond with the silk’s cellulose fibers. This process ensures rich depth, lasting color, and minimal environmental impact. The silk is produced in a socially responsible facility certified by OEKO-TEX for safe and ethical working conditions.

• 58.8" length
• Dry clean only
• Certificate of Authenticity included

Available in four colors:
Charcoal – Refined and elemental, echoing burned grain
Midnight – Deep calm with subtle tonal richness
Plum – Quietly expressive, with warmth beneath restraint
Bordeaux – A sculptural red with grounding depth
